Perennial. Cluster of brightly coloured flowers which form a ball shape. Green leaves with flat serrated edges. Thrive in hot dry conditions but will tolerate some shade. Avoid soil that is too rich as too much nitrogen or animal manure will promote leaf growth at the expense of the flowers. Prune regularly to keep plants compact and to encourage flowering.
