Perennial but usually grown as annual. Large double flowers with wavy edges and subtle scent. Foliage is blue-green-grey and grass-like in appearance. More commonly used as a cut flower but can be used in informal gardens in the mid section where foliage is hidden allowing flowers to be shown at their best. They require a well-drained soil with a dressing of lime and complete fertiliser. Feed with high potassium fertiliser when in bud. Cut flowers regularly to encourage new growth. Cold and frost tolerant
