Annual. Bright colourful chrysanthemum-like flowers available in double, semi-double and single flowers with hairy serrated leaves. Dwarf types are ideal for edge bedding. Taller varieties make great cut flowers and should be protected from strong winds if planted in the garden, staking may also be required. Plant Asters in a different spot each year to reduce the risk of disease. Frost tender.
